Our goal at Holistic Behavioral Health is to effectively diagnose and treat clients with the least amount of medication possible.
Medication management
Medication management involves the management of psychotropic medications used to treat a variety of mental health conditions. Medication management is not for every client. When psychotropic medication is indicated, the mental healthcare provider re-evaluates the patient during each visit to determine whether or not it is beneficial to continue the treatment regimen. Adjustments may be made to the plan of care to increase the rate of recovery and to enhance the quality of life. The ultimate goal is to find the right balance for the client.
The treatment plan may require follow-up appointments a few weeks after your initial evaluation. You may choose to schedule this appointment as an in-person, video, or phone visit. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. In the case of an emergency, please call 911
or the Spokane Regional Service Area Behavioral Health Crisis Hotline Number 1 (877) 266-1818
or Texas Crisis Hotline Number (800) 273-TALK (8255) or (800) SUICIDE (784-2433) or In Spanish (888) 628-9454

GeneSight Genetic Testing:
DNA genetic testing analyzes how your genes may affect your outcomes with medications commonly prescribed to treat depression, anxiety and other psychiatric conditions. This provides your provider with information about which medications may require dose adjustments, may be less likely to work for you, or may have an increased risk of side effects based on your genetic makeup.
Telepsychiatry/Telehealth
Patients who choose telepsychiatry or Telehealth receive mental health care remotelyvia secured videoconferencing. Similar to an in-person encounter, the healthcare provider can evaluate and care for the patient from a convenient location. Currently, all of our visits are done remotely, however it is important to note that telehealth may not be the right choice for everyone. While it is convenient, some individuals may prefer an in-person interaction. If telehealth is not right for you, please visit our clinic.
